Default 60th Wedding Anniversary Memory Quilt

On Feb 13, my DILs will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. We will be hosting a party to celebrate it on Feb 9. The GC (all adults now) will be preparing the food (home made soups and sandwich fixings) and special presentations. My DH asked me to make them a special memory quilt using photos and the newspaper announcement (the names were reversed under the pictures) from their wedding. My DH told me how he wanted it and chose the fabrics from my stash. He wanted the newspaper announcement in the center of the back. You can see how much I had to tweak it to get it white. There are no color photos, but the description says the bridesmaid dress was lt blue w/tulle. The side photos are of each family w/the bride and groom. The bride's brother was the priest (he's gone now) that married them. The bride's sister (she really is a sister-she's a nun) will be giving a tribute to their marriage. Everyone that attends will write a short note and sign the quilt. This is especially poignant, as my MIL has Alzheimer's.

This will become a family heirloom, especially with everyone signing it.
