    This is a recent fun quilt I made for my moms 80th birthday. I took 80 layers of fabric and made them into a * cake * for her .

    She really did a lot of the fabrics were ones that she had made quilts from.. or fabrics that she loved..at year 20 ( when she got married ) I found some wedding fabric in my stash... to put there.. It was a last minute idea and just quick and fun.
