Kassaundra your quilt is a beautiful original; that pedestrian crossing wasn't there when I worked at EMI Electrical Studios in 1958-59 as it was then called; watching the 50th Beetles anniversary a few years ago sure brought back some memories of my late teens! I met a few stars of the day back then including Cliff Richard, The John Barry 7, Dennis Lotus, Ronnie Hilton and so on. Staff could sit in on the Friday night recording sessions of the tv show Drum Beat.

I love it! You definitely should be proud. But one little question...don't you kind of hate to give it away in the swap? I would have a hard time with that one

You certainly earned the right to be proud. That block is fabulous.

If I had made that block i think i would be strutting around like a peacock in full display! You deserve to be proud. It will be hard to send it off in the swap and I bet the recipient will be over the moon when she gets it.
