    Everything turned out gorgeous! I love the room, the curtains, pillows and especially the quilt! You do fantastic work!

    Great job on getting it finished before your mom got there! That was a lot of work. I hope she is surprised and pleased with it.

    Your Mum will be overwhelmed I'm sure - I love blue & yellow together too.
    Have a lovely day together on Sunday - our Mothers Day here in the UK was back in March.
    BTW had a quick nose around your blog too - adore your Christmas Quilt WIP you posted in July 2006 - can I ask where you acquired the pattern from please.

    thank you!

    the Christmas quilt was a years' worth of blocks-of-the-month from one of our local quilt shops. i added the sashing, cornerstones, and borders from coordinating fabrics. the center is actually from a wall-hanging pattern from the mccall's quilting website -
