I never got into paper piecing and you have just given me another reason to forget about it. I can make my sewing room floor look like that without pp. I would make this the center of a strip quit and make it easy on yourself.

PP isn't my thing, but I LOVE your block! Did you get the pattern online by any chance? If so, mind sharing where?

I love your star and I'd blame the mess on a large family of mice

If you have never done paper piecing, it can be very daunting at the beginning. I had to do 3 projects with it before I even started feeling like I could do it OK, let alone well.

Keep at it. As your brain grasps the "flipping" technique, you'll get better at it. I still take far longer than lots of other people I know to do a block. But I LOVE how the lines always come out perfectly straight and the intersections are such sharp perfect angles.

    Don't give up....it gets better!!

I think it is very pretty. I have never ventured to the paper piecing myself. I always thought it would be too hard.
