[I just alternated BB blocks with JL star points for an interesting arrangement.]
I love the quilt and all the scrap color. I am trying to figure out your discription- did you use all of a JL or what do you mean by JL star points? If only a portion of the block-what part and how did it work?
I really looks awesome.

Here's the 2 blocks so we can use our imagination in how it would look merging them! I always thought there was a Road to Arkansas, but there's not so included the pic of Arkansas Crossroads. That would be interesting mixed with JL too! Here are the links so we can all imagine:

Thank you so much, jaciqltznok!!
here's the BB bl:

JFYI, the BB block has (4) 4P's that come together; mine has 12 4P's!
So it's a lot bigger! Hope you can see the stars -- they are so pretty! n2

To help you in doing the Big 4P block easier, I went to paint.net today to draw a formula to go by in doing 1 block of the 4P section that you alternate with the star blocks. It's much easier to chainsew 3 or 4 of these blocks at one time and then assemble into the big 4P. After you have one made, then you can do the others the same way and turn them any way you want or swap with other sections to get what you want where you want it. And chainsewing them is easier than making all 12 4P's at once. Hope this is clear. Anyway, here is the block I drew showing the placement of darks and lights. You'll then make 3 more just like it for the big 4P block. n2
