    Default Another big chevron quilt

somehow I have become fascinated with stripes and chevrons, all at once. The first one, I used the stripe to make the quilt look scrappy. It turned out very well.

Well, I had to try it again with another big stripe. Two fabrics and black fabric for borders and sashing.

The zebra strip in the border is fussy cut from the stripe fabric.

    Enjoy!

Ohhhh, and the one under it is pretty, too. I like how you have broken up the chevrons with that stripe.

Love your quilt. The strip adds a lot of interest.

I really really like your idea of using the stripes for chevrons. The black and white really set off the fabric beautifully. Do you remember the name of the colored fabric? I just love it.
