    Ok, here's chicken #2.
    It's not all appliqued yet. I'm not too keen on the eyes either, but oh well.......
    The eggs were a pain to cut out. I decided to cut them out because I didn't want the black background in there.

    The eggs were a pain to cut out, but I really do like it better than just the egg fabric. I laid down the fabric with the hen on top and just didn't like the looks, so this is what came of it. :)

    Terri...I like the eggs too..is that the one that originally was sitting on the straw nest?? I have that one printed to use also. I agree with you about cutting out the eggs...much better! :lol: I guess I better get busy again :wink:

    Yes Patti. I didn't like the looks of what it was sitting on, so decided the eggs. It took about 8" high by width of fat quarter to get the eggs that I needed.

    I'm going to have to find some of the egg fabric...I don't have any...did you get it at BF or did Marcia send that to you? I haven't gone back to look at your other thread to see.

    Marcia sent it to me.
    I've got the entire chicken done, now I'm trying to figure out HOW to applique the eggs. There's only a few that are single. The rest are a bunch cut out.
    I think maybe just a tiny stitch around it...what do you think?
