Default Another older quilt

This is a watercolor lap sized quilt I made in 1996. The next quilt I make, after Under The Stars, will be a water color type in hexagon shapes. I am passionate about watercolor quilts, and snowmen.

Your quilt is gorgeous. I Love the watercolor quilts & have always wanted to make one myself. Thank you for the inspiration that you just gave me!!

Beautiful watercolor quilt! I love them, too, but have never made one.

Beautiful colors in this. I think it takes a really good eye for color and value to successfully do a watercolor quilt. You obviously have that talent.

Thankyou. Coming from you guys it's a real compliment. I want to make one from the color value jelly rolls, that starts dark and goes to light. I have the jelly rolls to do it. You'd need 2. Funny thing is, I've never made a traditional quilt block until last night when I did block one of Joann's French Cottage quilt. That's 2014, hopefully I can get the other block kits, and the setting kit. It makes up really pretty.
