I really like your quilt. I have been wanting to try a QAYG but haven't gotten up the nerve to try yet. I like how simple the blocks are and yet so pretty. Maybe I will look at trying a QAYG with yours as an inspiration. Thanks for showing your work.

Well, that is why THIS one is not the masterpiece that the one that inspired me was. On mine, the back was just a solid piece of fabric, so there was no "matching" necessary. You actually do one block at a time--so you are only quilting little squares. Then, the tedious part is doing the sashing, but it is really fun because it comes together and looks nice and the quilting is done when you are finished.
