I am looking for a beautiful reversible quilt on saw some time ago on QB, one side was string blocks with black joining strips
The other side was a block with white joining strips.
I was so sure I had saved this quilt but I can not find it.
Thank you for your help

The very first quilt I made was a QAYG reversible string quilt. The book [h=1]Reversible Quilts: An Easy New Technique (Leisure Arts #4131)[/h]
Is the best pattern book with the clearest instructions I've ever used for this method. Amazon has it.

Thank you Ranger, that is the quilt, I think this quilt sums up what PATCHWORK. Quilting is all about, while I do admire the beautiful & stunning quilts I see on this site, to me there is nothing like a scrap quilt, isn't this where our great grandmothers started our wonderful addictive hobby

Is this for hand or machine quilting?

Here is a challenge on the board that is working through QAYG you might find helpful.

It's for machine quilting each block or section before you put the quilt together. The double color binding method instructions are in the book too. Her instructions are simple and very easy to understand.
