We had about 6 inches of snow Monday then 15 inches again Friday and now that the temps are in the 40's its melting and with the steady rain we got all morning it makes me nervous...so far the wind isnt what they said we would get.

The creek behind my house is up over it's banks right now. It's not raining too hard now, but it was pouring this morning. The thunder and lightning started around midnight last night. That's so unusual for February!

We are in the area of watches also, it is raining pretty good here, we did get some hail earlier. My family up in Indiana is having flooding issues. Be safe everyone, mother nature is on a warpath!

We are expecting some rain. Hope so. We have drought warnings so could use some. Hope it clears so you can enjoy the spring.

I am in southen VA - Patrick Co and it is pouring rain and really foggy. I have to go back out tonite to the funeral home so that makes it really bad. Better than ice and snow though.

My mom always marked on her calendar, if it thundered in Feb. it would be a cold spell in April around the same time. Now I'm questioning the April, can't remember if that is right.Has anyone else heard this. She's gone now, so can't ask her. But I know it was true saw it happen a lot.
