I need to thank all of you who offered suggestions for finishing this quilt. You really helped me to decide.
I will finish it after quilting with a final Dark green binding to end the framing. The pale frame which is actually a basket weave print will have a green vine surrounding the center, probably with mainly leaves but a few flowers. The four open blocks will have larger appliqued flowers applied after the quilting is finished.
I'm going to put this aside for now in order to make the four flowers, and to finish what is already on my longarm.
Thanks so much ladies for all the inspiration and support.
    Mary Katherine
