I need to thank all of you who offered suggestions for finishing this quilt. You really helped me to decide.
I will finish it after quilting with a final Dark green binding to end the framing. The pale frame which is actually a basket weave print will have a green vine surrounding the center, probably with mainly leaves but a few flowers. The four open blocks will have larger appliqued flowers applied after the quilting is finished.
I'm going to put this aside for now in order to make the four flowers, and to finish what is already on my longarm.
Thanks so much ladies for all the inspiration and support.
    Mary Katherine

Beautiful quilt, and your applique work is divine.

Was the alphabet part of the pattern? Or was it a font you designed or found elsewhere?

I've been looking for one similar in style. Thanks.

The font is an old one of the computer, one of the earlier versions of Word.. my husband keeps everything.
The flowers were just copied from images I liked on goggle.
    Thanks.

Care to share the name of the font (pretty please)?
It should be enough for me to dig up the .ttf files.
    Thanks again.

And I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you took all the different elements from different places to make your own unique design.

Now I think the quilt is even MORE fabulous than I did before.

Actually I think the font is Bocklin, Its similar.
My husband is a bear about free stuff so you should be able to hunt it down. Boecklin was another spelling.
