Oh gosh it's wonderful. You can avoid the mitered corners by using a half square triangle.

Thanks for explaining the process. I'll play around with it and see what happens.

Hi Marcia, love your attic window. I did a bunch of them years ago, Halloween scene , pumpkin farm, birds, watercolor and Christmas and winter scenes. they are great fun to do and I cheat and use the half square corners :-)! yours is beautiful, so peaceful, makes you want to JUMP in ! lol
I'm in Morris County NJ and there's hardly any quilt shops up here and now that all the Rag Shops are gone , the closest Joann's to me are 45min to hr away, I just have Walmart and of course my stash which is so beyond ridiculous that I made 100 pillowcases for the million pillowcase challenge that used a yard of fabric a piece and I am not lying, it didn't make the slightest dent. I've got fabric that dates back to 1996 when I first started quilting...its an obsession!
drives me crazy , been buying online , but not the same as feeling it up.
I just started sewing again in Nov so now I'm obsessed again
:-)
love your avatar wreath too, I did that one also but I love your ribbon border that really makes it pop. Don't you just love this board? so many good ideas !
