I thought this slip cover I made would go Great with this Very old chair that No one is aloud to sit on (well maybe for a few minutes)
This is my own work ,(not a pattern) I have made a few of these slip covers because it is easy to take them off the pillows and wash them if need be. I used a small zig-zag stitch for the applique. Thank you for looking.

Thank you... This chair has been in my DH family for quite some time and I inherited it after his Grandmother died some 32 years ago, My husband's distant relatives were some of General Allisons family and I think this was one of the chairs that were placed at the dining table.

Very nice and a great idea to have several and replace with a new one for a change out!

Your "woodsy" pillow looks perfect on that chair. I like your doily under the table on the first picture, too!
    You do nice work, Brenda!

    Hi Brenda,
I love your pillow you made for your family room. It fits perfectly into the decor. I love the old chair you have it in. It looks a hundred years old!

Thankyou all for the compliments on the slip cover and the chair. The chair is very special to me because it was hand made in the late seventeen hundreds and if you do sit on it it "creeks" like crazy but unbelievably strong.
