Default Awesome Women

A collection of whimsical fabrics was donated to our church quilt group. I put this together yesterday. It's the first one I've tried in putting various sized blocks together. After looking at the picture, I'd do a little more planning next time. The band of words says 'Nothing to Wear', but I thought Awesome Women was a better name for the quilt. It's only 36x54... I may add some side borders.

Very cute! I might ad a large black and white checkerboard border to repeat the checkerboard fabric in the blocks.

I would add a solid black border. It is really adorable and busy!

Lorelei lives to ride again. I remember her first fabrics and I was addicted.

Really cute. I think you did a good job with the different size pieces. I would also go with a black or b&w print border.

Definitely a border to hold those ladies in. I would do solid, but checkerboard would work too, IMHO.
