    Default Baby Blues

So a friend of mine is expecting her firstborn in a few months. I'd originally made this as a block for a larger project, but I realized my plans had gotten too big, and this would make a good baby blanket on its own.

So here it is. Of course, now that I've finished it, I hear she's expecting a girl.

I will try to get a better photo of it once the sun comes up tomorrow.

You can give blue to a girl, but not pink for a boy. Maybe put some small girlie appl. on it somewhere.

Cute! You can always hang onto this one for a while. There's lots of new babies that would love a new quilt. Then make a new girl themed quilt.

That looks so cuddly - or is that snuggly?! Very nice gift for somebody sometime.

awesome design. I just realized and broke it down, it's a fairly easy quilt block to do but it packs a punch
