    Baby Boy Quilt with FMQ

Here are a few pictures of the quilt I just finished. It's about 36 x 48 and FMQ'd. I didn't have an actual pattern, it's just coordinating fabrics done in the same style as the last little scrappy quilt I made ( Scrappy with a Stipple (Inspired by "ranger")! ). I tried out some new-to-me FMQing motifs on this one and like the way it turned out. It's been washed and is ready to gift as soon as I add a personalized label, hence the crinkled look.

    Enjoy!

Of course I don't mind! This design is so adaptable... to make the quilt larger you can make more blocks, make the blocks larger, use more or less of the nine-patch blocks, do it "scrappy", literally anything you want. Have fun with it.

Just beautiful FMQing. How many hours would you estimate it took you to do the quilting?
phranny ~ I cannot call my day complete. 'til needle, thread, and fabric meet.
