    I already uploaded the pic of the entire teddy bear quilt but I just had to show you the baby's spiked hair! LOL When my grandson was small, he and I both used to spike our hair so it was quite humorous that this baby also have his hair sticking up.

    It's just 'thread painting'. I used the same thread I was quilting him with, and with the feed-dogs down, I just free-handed it. Just moving the fabric back and forth so I got points on the outside and went around the top of his head and the ears.
