    I already uploaded the pic of the entire teddy bear quilt but I just had to show you the baby's spiked hair! LOL When my grandson was small, he and I both used to spike our hair so it was quite humorous that this baby also have his hair sticking up.

    It's just 'thread painting'. I used the same thread I was quilting him with, and with the feed-dogs down, I just free-handed it. Just moving the fabric back and forth so I got points on the outside and went around the top of his head and the ears.

    lovely quilt, and great idea for the spikes, mine went through spikes too for ages, we went through so much hair product!

    Your quilt is really cute. Nice Job! Sounds like Grandma is having lots of fun with the little ones. These are the things the little ones will remember the rest of their life.
