Welcome to the Quilting Board!

So cute! I know you're excited. Get some rest while you still can!
I just used flannel on both sides. I taped two pieces of computer paper together and traced a dessert plate on each end and then just drew the curved line to connect the lines, to make the pattern. It was so easy. I did put batting in the middle, but I am not sure you would have too. When I was making them, my husband came in and said that my son in law wouldn't like the flowers. So I made the camo cloths for him...
They are all so cute !! I'm with you, I'm expecting my first grandchild in May. They don't want to know if it's a boy or girl, they want to be surprised !!
LOL!! He wouldn't like flowers!!! Oh Well, some men are that way!!!Originally Posted by Laura3
I'm not sure they would need batting but flannel would make them more absorbent than regular cotton fabrics.
very nice i make burp cloths for newborns in need
I make my burp cloths using a piece of fabric sewn on a cloth prefolded diaper. I'll locate the link and add it here: http://projectsforyournest.blogspot.com and in her search box you can type in Basket of Burpies and she has a tute for it. Very easy and according to my DIL they are better than the store bought ones.Originally Posted by Jim's Gem
