I would use the same design but put Pink on the outside and use this one for a boy. Beautiful quilt and an easy pattern!

It isn't feminine, but I would think it could be boy or girl. It looks large enough that they will be using it for a while and they may enjoy having a more "grown up" quilt. You did a good job.
