Finger didn't bother me at all during the night and I thought for sure that it would. I bumped it while making my coffee and then I knew it was there as that hurted when it got bumped. I'll certainly be careful with it tho. I have to change the dressing this a.m. and then I will finish basting this puppy and get it on the frame. Every one take care and have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Oh Faye ... What a nice quilt! I was in the hancocks the other day and spoke to a sweet old white haired lady that was using a basting gun to baste her quilt while in the check out line.

I have put a needle through my finger before. Right through the nail! It sure hurts. Keep it real clean and watch it for any signs of trouble. (like a black line) Make sure you go to the hospital if it doesn't heal.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I'm going to have to quilt the whole thing on the machine. I can't remember how to hand quilt., well I can, but I can't hide my knots and I can't do the knot and hide it at the end of the thread so all that work in diggin' out the quilt frame and putting the quilt on it for nothin' I'm so mad. I'm going to have to relearn every thing. Bummer! Well back to the drawing board. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay ..sharonanne,, my sister's name is Sharon Ann what a small world.

I bet if you look on Utube, you will find a tutorial on those knots and how to bury them. It is fairly easy, but hard to explain how in words.
Here is along list of videos that will show you how again to bury the knot....

Well there was no sound and it froze up my puter and I have DSL too! Well now I have a backache moving things around so I can get the bulk of the quilt on the table for machine quilting. I tried the knot the way the first video said, but it doesn't work for me at all so I give up on that. The one about the end of the stitches was only a glips at it and that was all so I think ther are flaws in the videos. No sound and I'm hard of hearing also so it just doesn't work for me as i have to have sound, but thanks for the links. Have a great day, HUggies, Fay...Going ot have to get a book or see if I have one in the closet or some place.
