Great bag. I like the dark on the bottom and the light on the top. It makes it so visually pleasing.

Beautiful bag and the button is just the perfect finishing touch!

So sorry to hear about your lay off. I will keep you in my thoughts and hope you find something soon. I have been where you are now, don't let it get you down. Something will come up.

Your bag is just beautiful. As someone who was also layed off just before 10 years, may I give you just a quick bit of advice? Take some time and be angry...feel sorry for yourself, blame everyone you want and need to, let the unfairness of it surface, realize businesses are not anyone's friend right now and after a SPECTACULAR 15 minutes of full spectrum everything, drop it. Lay it to rest. Get rid of it and don't allow negative thoughts back in. You never know what God or the Universe has in mind for you...but it's clear you and all who have been taken out of where they were, are needed somewhere else. The more peaceful you are about this process, the better your energy will come across in your interviews and the quicker you'll be led to where you need to be. My lay-off was the greatest gift I've ever received! Thinking of you with smiles. Go make another bag...they're great.

I'm sorry to hear that you were laid off from you job. It's hard anytime, but it's hard to get laid off after 14 year....have been there myself. Hopefully you will find happiness in whatever you decide to do. Absolutely love the bag - both the pattern and your choice of fabric.

omgosh. That is beautiful. I really need to learn to make these. Do you mind saying where you got the button? If you did, I missed it.

It's wonderful that you have reacted to the nasty turn in your life by doing something so creative and beautiful.
