Default Batik Bento Box - finally finished!

I started this quilt for my friend-slash-boss two years ago. I finally presented her with the finished product tonight at her birthday party! Her favorite colors are purple and green - I received a jelly roll as a gift and knew that it should be something for her. The back came about as a scrappy top I wasn't overly fond of that happened to be in her colors.

Very simple quilting, just some messy SITD to get 'r done as quickly as possible. The batting is high-loft poly for extra plush comfort. She's going to lose her mom to cancer pretty soon and I figured she could use as much snuggle as she could get.

She's the one holding the quilt.

Nice job! I'm sure she'll appreciate your gift for years to come. Sorry to hear that her mom's health is failing.
