    Hi friends,

We are all off to Hawaii tomorrow for our DS Michael's wedding. They live in Japan, yes Japan!

Things have been hectic for sure but I finally finished the wall quilt for them.

Machine pieced and hand quilted by me :)

I am sooooooo excited!!! Eight days away in Hawaii !!

That is gorgeous! It could definitely find a home in my house. Gives me an idea of what to do with some batiks I was going to make a different quilt with but don't like any more.

Bento Box and Batiks, kinda has a nice ring to it. Looks great and they will love it. I feel really bad for you having to go all the way to Hawaii, poor you. Anyway, Have a good time and enjoy your visit and the wedding.

Michael just called to say they got to Hawaii safely!!
The top took just an afternoon to piece but I didn't measure it. It's about 36 X36 I think.
I would say the hand quilting took around 50 hours maybe??
Not sure about that. I wish it showed better in the photos :)
