Your batiks are beautiful and the pattern works well with them. A really beautiful quilt.
I can understand your not wanting to take on commissions. I made one quilt for a woman. She was really pleased and I was rewarded handsomely but the pressure to please and perfection was enormous. Now, I make a quilt, if you like it we can talk about a price. Less stress for me. I have to admit, I hate to sell or give away my quilts.

Last commission? Too much pressure. I want to please, but it's so hard to tell exactly what someone wants. I'll make and sale - if you like it you can buy it - but not going to take a vague request and try to make something from it. The lady bought 3 quilts from me and was thrilled about each one, but ... the second guessing and self-doubt just wasn't worth it.
