I made these wall hangings for my Mom's 88th birthday. She loves them. I had lots of fun designing and making them. i love to embroider and since she taught me to do it when I was just a little girl, I thought she would like them. I tried once before to post these pictures and couldn't. Someone (I'm sorry I forgot who) told me that maybe they were too big. I greatly appreciated the message. So I decided to ask my computer whiz son to explain to me how to resize them. Anyway, here they are, I hope. :)

One portrays my Mom in her front yard feeding the birds.I know the lady looks very plump, but I showed her a picture in a quilting magazine of that shape of ladies and she thought it was cute. The other is of my three nieces having fun arguing about who Grandma loves best. They do it all of the time and Mom loves it. She likes birds so I fussy cut pieces that looked like parts of lady birds in their finery out of my favorite fabric and pieced them together.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I'm sure she will have lots of fun showing them off to her visitors.
