Thank you all for your kind thoughts!! I have completed the label and we head to his house today to attach it!! My BIL is moving into a brand New Veterans Retirement Center. ( One of those that we have all been making the Quilts of Valor for) He will be caring for himself with the exception of meals, medications etc. I passed along all you thoughts and he has assured me he will NOT let them wash it but will call me to come get it. He is very sharp right now. When he reaches he point where he is not, we will go get it!! I told him about the QOV quilt he will receive hoping that it would take his quilts place!! His answer-- "I'm sure it will be beautiful but my Grandmother made this!" Can't argue with that! Lol

Is it possible to take another close up picture of the quilt? Sure would like to find the name of that beautiful pattern.

Such a beautiful quilt. No wonder he wants to take it with him and what wonderful memories it must hold.

This quilt is really beautiful and such a treasure! It looks in perfect condition too! I know Mr. Bill is especially proud of his grandmothers quilt and I would be just like him. I am gonna trust that the Lord will protect this quilt and Mr. Bill will keep his eye on it seriously. He sounds to be in his right mind and if he is anything like my mom, he will protect it with his life. lol! Again, it is simply beautiful!
