The more bindings you do, the better you will get (just like anything...). Great I Spy quilt! What size are your squares? I make I Spy kits too, with 5" squares.

binding looks great, I usually do mine by hand, but if mine turned out looking that good, I'd do them by machine too.

You deserve kudos for helping your wife on her project. You did a great job. Done is done.

What a precious quilt. You finished it off with great binding & I know your wife will thank you over & over again for helping her with this quilt. It will be loved by a little one.

Great quilt. Binding by machine is tricky but oh, so worth it in time.

I think you did a wonderful job. Perfect binding comes with practice, practice, practice... Often I quilt very late at night and being tired and maybe without the best lighting, I worry that my stitch lines will not be absolutely straight. The solution is to use a decorative stitch. My favorite is a slight wavy line that has a tiny leaf every third wave. Always looks perfect (no ones knows).

It looks great. Stripes are fun for binding.

Your binding looks fine. As an extra help, glue & press the binding in place before stitching. That has really helped my bindings. Have 2 ready for stitching now.
