Default Bird Watching all the time

Well ladies & gent's I love nature. I know many of you don't like to use fabric panels...but they are fun for me to use. My daughter purchased most of the fabric in this for me. The bird panel she bought a year ago this month, in Dec. she purchased the bird houses for me....then I remembered the panel...so I combined them. Now to the sandwiching...not sure how I wll quilt it yet. Anyway once it's done I can bird watch anytime.

Love how you combined the two. They look made for each other.

I don't frequently use panels because they are more challenging for me to use to make a bigger quilt. I did make a cool one for my dad with a panel. I also used to pick patterns based on whether or not I could adequately quilt using the walking foot. You did a great job with this panel.

Just want to clearify...the center is the panel, I added the framing around it, the othe birds off the center is fabric I picked up at walmart just a couple days ago. the framing is left over from a couple years ago, it looks like birch logs.

Beautiful! You did a great job on this & I'm glad you explained what all the panel consisted of. I'm a bird lover and I love this quilt!

How lucky to have a panel and birdhouse fabric to join. Your DD picked out two winners. Great combo and beautiful quilt!

Lovey fabric Susan, and you have framed it beautifully. What are the gorgeous birds on your avatar please?
