    Thank you Susan, I'm afraid I don't know many American birds, but I do love them. Just want to share with you that we had our local friendly peacock call around for his breakfast just minutes ago. Always a delight to see him.

    Really like this and certainly looks more doable than the pattern I got today: paper piecing. I have only practiced this before. Love bird watching, so if you get tired of yours ....

    I designed the pattern myself....don't think I'll tire of it any time soon.

    I love it. The birdhouse border is just too cute. I like to use panels to make wallhangings, they are great for practicing your quilting also. I have several in my stash, have to get them out and make something out of them.

    Also a bird watcher. Love your quilt. I used pics my husband took of birds at our feeders, printed them onto fabric and made them into a table cover quilt for our dinning room table. Came out great.
