    Remember you can also use log cabin blocks to replace a square that's two triangles. Look at some of the old stand-by 4 patch patterns. I'm partial to stars so that's probably what I'd do.

    I have one very similer a flip and sew pattern. I am going to do it on Point. Have to wait until the holidays are over. I am thinking red for the the setting blocks. Not sure yet.
