These are gorgeous. Just play with the layout and suddenly it will pop when it pleases you (smile). Can't wait to see the outcome; great blocks. Thank you for sharing.
Desiderata (Max Ehrmann) - Walk placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.

You might try using the advanced search option and look up some of the log cabins others have created. Lots of stricking designs and color combinations have been posted in the past. Your colors will make a pretty quilt.

I love the black and white theme!! When I was making my log cabin, I googled log cabin quilts, and found a site that had several different layouts:

I like your blocks alot. It is interesting to see others' blocks and recognize some of your own fabrics.

I am working on some blocks now and was thinking that I would do an off center round the world that I was going to suggest. But looking at some of the sites provided by the others, I really like the whirlygig one. Had not seen that before.

    Just keep playing!

I always come back to the Barn Raising layout, when it comes to log cabins.

I have a notebook full of layout options; each time I see one I add it to my book. That does not help you though, sorry.

Google layouts, you will not believe how may options there are, and more every day.
After 2 years with the same signature I have been requested to remove it. Bye
