Black and White Splash and a lil extra
When I made a pattern I am often curious about using other colors for it. So, after using the Depression Block pattern for the batik Earth and Ocean, I wanted to try using black/whites and color. I used 4" blocks I had cut already. I like it but it took a long time to construct. It's 37".
Then I played with some extras and made the little 12.5" one. I love that. Could be a sort of mug rug for a teacher's desk so papers don't get damp from lunch. But I'm calling it "Inference" and will see if my first graders can figure out why. ;-) It will hang in our classroom.
I like this pattern because it's so easy to quilt! Straight lines all the way.
Next is another Triple Irish Chain... from the same fabric line I made the last one, except one batik. lol All the strips are cut. Cant wait to get more done on that. It's a keeper!
