    Default Black and white

My guild has a challenge of black and white plus a small amount of an assigned color. I have spent the last 4 days setting up 15-20 possible challenge quilts. Here is the first of them. The blue parts are intended to be prairie points.

Here are 2 more, but I won't bore you by posting them all.

I couldn't do the first one in this post - my double vision quadrupled just looking at it! But I really like the second one and the one in your first post. Such fun!

Are you doing these with a program like eq? Cool designs!

Thank you for the sweet comments. I own EQ, a gift from a departed friend. I have tried it in several versions, but hate it. Quilt Pro is my quilt program of choice. I also use their Mariner's Compass I and II. BTW, it is now on Black Friday 1/2 price sale at quiltpro.com. One of many things I like better about Quiltpro is that I don't have to name anything until I see what it should be called.

OK, Central Ohio, here comes another pair. It is one of a set I designed about 4 years ago and repurposed. Something else I have been doing for years is taking patterns I see and like (such as in quilting magazine ads), putting them into quiltpro, then playing with them until I think they are just right. DH and I often try patterns out in various colorways.

Early on, my name for block #2 was magic fans, which no longer fits. Ideas? When I make it, it will be PPed and not nearly has tricky as it looks. Blue is my assigned color, but red looked better with #3 Sigh. The last block is one I did in reds for a valentine/birthday mug rug to give a friend. I just recolored it and set it up with 4 of them.
