Well, this is different...Part 3 My purple and white "Study in Black and White"

I finished my purple and white quilt. It ended up much larger than I intended it to be, but had to do it that way to get a pleasing design. It is from a pattern called Study in Black and White by Julia Pope. The finished size is 70 by 74. (I was aiming for 60 x 60, but this works.)

I labeled this quilt as different when I first posted pieces of it on my design wall. It is still different, but I am pleased with it.

I like your 'different' purple quilt. It is very pleasing. I've got a similar pattern that has rectangles instead of squares. This makes me want to push that one up on my 'to do list.' Nice job!
    Go forth and sew!

Perfect design for a two color quilt. And for people like me who are challenged sometimes.

Appreciated the journey you shared about this quilt and am glad to see the finished quilt. It is truly beautiful and so modern. It is fun to stretch our imaginations and skills into new directions. Thank you for sharing the process.
