Finished the top....I don't know if I am more tired from working on it or from the emotional aspect of working on it for my friend and his wife.

I'll do the back and tote bag tomorrow.

difficult to tell but that is a pink with chocolate brown polka-dots

Susan - last night and today...I just couldn't put it down. I'm done for the night though.

Great job. Did you have a pattern you followed? Would love to make a quilt to donate to our local breast cancer center. It is always emotional to deal with breast cancer. My mom fought it for 37 years. this quilt will be a great comfort to your friend's wife.

Diane - I used the very last pattern/image on this webpage: http://www.equilters.com/library/qui...-quilttop.html

I did tube quilting triangles for all of it and just pieced together what I thought looked pretty. The hard part was matching up the squares - I didn't stack my cuts and then I knocked some off the table so it was like working a jigsaw puzzle.....the border I kind of made up because I was tired and didn't know what else to do.
