Was out picking up my embroidery machine from the Dr.'s this afternoon and found this beautiful paisley fabric that I thought would make a great OBW. Cost was $1.90 for 2 yds. and is 60"wide

Gorgeous fabric, fabulous price. How far apart are the print repeats? If you do the hexagon version, you need six along the selvedge. As long as they are 12" or less you should be good!

I think it will be beautiful.... YOu have the paisley plus it looks like a leave of sorts. Both would be great.. and I really like the color. So bright and full of life. We all need a little bright in our life at times. Brings in a cheefull day to a dull day. Have fun and enjoy. :) :)

    I agree with jemma.

You might want to try a Four Patch Posie with this fabric. It would be a little bit easier especially if it's your first one. The preparation is the same but the shape cut is much easier. Then you'll have a better idea about fabric selection for your OBW quilt.
