Okay, this quilt is a little busy, so I really have no idea what to do for the border. It's suppose to have a white border followed by another border of black & white squares, and finally a tone-on-tone border. I was thinking that the black/white squares would be tooooo much.

I'm going to add another row and probably add a thin black border around the entire quilt. After that I'm pretty much clueless. A few errors, but not too shabby!

What ya think? Any ideas, suggestions?

This one has a OOPS square

After the thin black border, if you have leftover fabric, why not try a piano keys border from the leftovers?

Beautiful! Very bright & cheerful!

If it were mine...(hint)...I would probably do a Black & White piano key border and finish with a black binding

I would do a plain color border and then bind it in black. Pick a plain out of the quilt.
I think that anything with a pattern would be too much.
Just my personal opinion.
Love the quilt, by the way.

I think a wider black border would tone it down a pinch and use leftover colors alternating for the binding.

That's a really cool quilt! But I wouldn't do a busy border.

The other person's piano key border sounds interesting.
My first thought is to make the border solid, so it doesn't make it "busier".
That is a very pretty colorful quilt!

I agree with hobo2000 a wide black border and leftovers for binding. Very pretty.

I can see the white border followed by the black and white and tone on tone....the black and white squares would be a continuation of the black and white in the quilt. I personally like the idea but it's your quilt so you have to make the final choice!! :D
