Thanks to Empire State Quilters BOM ! I present this charming way to use our buttons. The blocks are 3" with a 1" border. 16 or 20
will make an interesting art hanging. I backed my center blocks with a layer of muslin and played with my buttons all morning!Enjoy...

I use clusters of buttons in crazy quilting. I have many family buttons that won't get used though. They are mounted and in archival sleeves.

What a great idea. A friend of mine from work has save all the "extra" buttons you get with clothing and want me to make a quilt/wall hanging with these. Your idea will be perfect. Thanks so much for sharing

Super...I love using buttons in my quilting projects...my last project, a Christmas Quilt used lots of buttons....it was a blast....

I made a Christmas tree out of some of my buttons... and put lights on it... fun to do!!
I love your little blocks with the buttons
