A few months ago I asked for suggestions to make this quilt larger. I was making the butterfly blocks (hand appliqued wings) and setting them side by side. A few of you wonderful people suggested a blank block in between which made my life so much easier. Well here is the finished product. I quilted it on my Sapphire 850 and it aint perfect but I am pleased.
This is for my DGD who is turning 9 tomorrow. I have a design wall and was putting the butterfly blocks up as I finished them. She would come over about twice a week and watch the progression and always smile and tell me she really likes butterflys grandma. She will be so surprised. Cant wait to give it to her.

I like the idea of black sachings. It really makes the colors pop! Keep up the good work!
