Welcome to the Quilting Board!

My friends must think I know every quilt block pattern ever made. LOL. Any help is appreciated. Thanks a Ton. CAT
I don't know the name of the block but I sure do like it and the materials from which it was made.
It sure is pretty, looks like it might be a vintage quilt. First thought in my mind was stars in my crown, but that's probably not what it was called!
The "star" corners looks like Hands all Around". I have seen the middle pattern before but can't think of the name of it offhand. Looks like a Lemoine (?) star but with the No,So, Ea, Wst patches as squares instead of HST and a diamond all around to square it.
I think it's Hands All Around
It's called jackson star. I found it on the quick quilt website.
Can't identify but sure is lovely and thanks for sharing
Have a Blessed day

Check out the "Encyclopedia of Pieced Block Patterns" compiled by Barbara Brackman, pg 461.
This seems to be the same pattern pieces as #3802 - Snow Crystals, a KC Star pattern from Dec. 1930,
or, #3801 - (which has 4 different names, including "Hands All Around") but with slight variation of
fabric placement.
Whatever it's called, I like it!! Thanks for sharing!![]()
