    It would absolutely make a great wedding gift, a nice quilt for the newlyweds to cuddle on the couch.

    Do not know if this will be helpful, but I had made bed runners for four couples and they all seemed to appreciate them.

    Runners are easy to quilt on a DSM, actually I have one all basted and ready to quilt...working on a quilting pattern..

    Just quilted a sofa throw for our GOD daughter in her wedding colors... Black, White, and Purple... Log cabin design... was a family group effort... Turned out BEAUTIFULLY!!!

    Great idea......I think that size is more functional. Can be used as a bedrunner, sofa throw, wallhanging, endless possibilities. Wonderful gift.
