Default Quilted on my embroidery machine

This was a quilt I made for my homeschool group's silent auction to raise funds for our college scholarship program. It is 3 charm packs with 1 1/2 sashing I didn't really use a pattern, each square was embroidered on my Elna 8200 with an angel design I got from Emblibrary. Thanks for looking

I'm with you but getting ready to try. I've been reading about it at emblibrary.com under Kenny's Korner. He has some good info and there is a yellow and blue large tote bag that he quilted using the sashiko designs (which I have most of to make a quilt out of) and it really looks like a good starter. I have fairly large hoops for my machine but he did his with smaller hoops and used templates to get the placement right. I'm working on my sewing room so if I can I'm going to try this bag this weekend. My daughter just got a new job grooming pets and needs a large bag to carry her clippers, etc in and it would be a great gift for her. She works and tries so hard to be independent and she has two kids to support with a dead beat dad so I try to make her life better and this she'll like.
