I wanted to make my grand daughter an apron.. so did a couple this weekend.. just trying it out... They are double sides that way it is easier to put the wrong sides together and sew the straps right inside. super eaasy :) I made my own straps but can use ribbons or such I just didn't have any at home.

How adorably cute!
What are the measurements? Did you use a pattern?

Your aprons look great! Your granddaughter will love them.

My daughter is interning at a day care. They needed aprons so I made 18 of them using this pattern I found. The neck strap is an elastic/fabric tube and the waist strap attaches on one side with velcro. That way the teachers don't have to help the kids put them on. They went together really fast.
The pattern was on http://sewliberated.typepad.com/sew_...tutorials.html
