This is the latest thing I've finished, back in November. It's made of Christmas charm squares that my friends gave me. I kind of wish I had put in some sashing to set the more detailed prints off a little. I had originally wanted nothing but charms on the top but ran out of collecting time to meet my personal deadline. Anyway it's a simple and homey thing, and my 8 year old loves it; she wants to keep it on her bed year round! She picked the fabrics for the pillowcases on trips to the shop with me.

I'm with your daughter, leave it on the bed year round! I like it the way it is without sashing.
