    Christmas quilts for my grandchildren

The first quilt is for my 10 yr old granddaughter. I backed it in flannel that I found this summer when we cleaned out my mother's house. She will have something of her "Baba" in this quilt. The pattern is Kansas Dugout.

The second is for my 6 yr old grandson. He loves baseball, just like I do. I struggled for a long time as to what to do, and got this idea from the QB. I searched the internet for the silhouettes. After getting those blocks appliqued, I put them all on the floor and played until I found a setting I liked. Then I took a picture, and went to graph paper.

I'm pleased with how both came out.

Those are both adorable. I am sure they will love them for years to come. They will hold on and think of you every time they wrap up with them.

I still have each of the quilts that my Mamaw and my Granny (Great GrandMother) made for me. My Granny has been gone since the 80's. I love them both very much.

They're both wonderful! I loved the close-ups photos of them and your personalized labels are so sweet!
