Default Christmas Gifts for the Grandchildren

Here are a couple of quilts I did for our grandchildren for this Christmas. Didn't want to post them until after they were gifted. I haven't been quilting long, but did these the hard way. Bought the fat quarter sets and cut them up and sewed them together without patterns. I quilted them myself - don't look too closely! Made two of the Star Wars quilts. What is it with boys/men and Star Wars?

Hope everyone has a great 2014 and lots of fun quilting! I love reading about your challenges and work here.

Super quilts! I think the first focus fabric has kitties on it but they remind me of Rocky the flying Squirrel from the old cartoon Rocky and Bullwinkle. The Star Wars quilt will be treasured.
